  • Currently developing PhD inside the Industrial and Telecommunications Technologies PhD Program (TECNIT). This research focuses on electronically characterization of soft biological tissues for haptic rendering in robotic surgery. The main research topic is microwave engineering applied to non-invasive blood glucose monitoring systems.

my research interests are on:

  • Medical Robotics; surgical robotics; surgery simulation; computer-aided-surgery; surgical navigation.
  • Rehabilitation robotics; virtual reality for rehabilitation.
  • Electronics and computer science applied to bioengineering.
  • Microwaves: Microwaves, Electronics and Computer Science applied to bioengineering.

Current research projects:

  • Since 2014: Develoment of Glucolate, a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring system based on microwave technology.
